I managed to do so using ChartSeries.setBorderColor() and ChartSeries.setBackColor(Color.TRANSPARENT).

My Next question is how can I fill only a part of the graph with backColor?

I Attached an image with a graph describing the desired behavior.

For gradient defining can be used the same approach as we show for Pie diagrams.

Details are here: http://www.artfulbits.co...m.aspx?g=posts&t=117

Idea is in using MASK for gradient defining.

The gradient is not the problem the problem is that this graph is "moving", being updated constantly, and only parts of the areas need the get filled. My question was how can I fill only parts from the areas in the area graph (and control it on the fly cause new points are always added)
