Hi,

I have the following issues with the Cascade lookup. I'm not sure whether i'm doing any mistake while configuring it. If you can respond with a solution or correct me, it will be great.

1. The new item form opening is taking 20 to 25secondes to open
2. After choosing the Parent field, it takes another 20 seconds for the child filed to get populated
3. The child fields are not showing the value directly even if it has got only one value. Instead it shows “None” and we need to choose the values manually.
4. If the parent is changed from the first selection, the child fields do not change!
5. Above all after all the parent and child fields are chosen “OK” button is not working, so I’m not able to enter any item in the list  Is there any specific setting which I’m missing?

It will be great If you can help in closing the above issues and help in best practices to improve the performance. Request you to revert at the earliest possible time.

Hello,

This behavior is incorrect. Please provide us with more details:
1) What version of SharePoint are you using?
2) Check if Cascaded Lookup solution is deployed on target Web application.
3) Please send us screenshot with Cascaded Lookup settings and additional information about Parent and Filter columns.
4) How many items has Source list of Cascaded Lookup column?
5) Please convert Cascaded Lookup Column to standard SharePoint Lookup (read this how to do it) and let me know if performance is the same or not.

Please send to support@artfulbits.om

Regards,
Yura
