Hello,

I have currently a code in which i can drag a curve's point from one position to another, in the Y axis.
The problem is i want to disable the horizontal panning while dragging, except when the user drags the point too much on the X axis in that case i assume the user didn't want to drag the point but just scroll the graph on the X axis.

i ran into some problems so now I have only one call to the setPanning() function in my whole code and it is with the parameter ChartView.PANNING_NONE

I am calling this right after creating the ChartView.

The problem is that I can perfectly use the "horizontal scrolling" eventhaught it should be disabled.

is aiCharts side-effect free ? And can i change the panning "on the fly" ?

Thank you very much for your time and support

Hi,

I guess you use OnTouchListener to implement dragging. You do not need to disable panning in that case. Just return value "true" while you dragging. That makes View to skip base implementation.
