I have a "real time" FastLine chart with time-of-day as the X-Axis. X-Axis zoom is set to 15 min, with panning enabled.

My problem is with the first 15 min where there's not enough data to fill the "zoom" and as such auto-panning takes place.

Question #1: Can I disable auto panning without doing a setDateRange?

To overcome the auto-panning, I've performed a setDateRange.
But now, after the first 15min I'm still stuck with the range I've used... but at this point I would like to go back to the original behavior with a zoom window of 15min and panning enabled. How can I now, cancel the setDateRange?

Thanks...

Hi,

Please, try to use following code to enable auto-scaling

Code:

ChartArea.getDefaultXAxis().getScale().setMinimum(null);
ChartArea.getDefaultXAxis().getScale().setMaximum(null);

Also check the following sample

Best regards,

Thanks Volodymyr!
Your code sample is very good and makes the point.
Your support on various questions throughout the past week has been very helpful, and will make all the difference from my end between a good demo and a lousy one :-)

Appreciate all the help, keep on the good work.

Hi,

just tried the attached example (aiCharts.FastLineSampleEx) and I'm experiencing some issues with the XAxis grid and labels positioning. Whenever you scroll the chartview they are repositioned.
The values shown in the labels in the XAxis got changed during the panning.

Trying the same interaction with numbers instead of date type it works as expected (without repositioning).

Any suggestion on how to keep the expected behavior with date type?

Thank you
