Hi there,

Is there a way to align Annotations to the X-Axis rather then to a Series? i.e., I don't want the annotation at the middle of the graph but rather at the bottom on the X-Axis...

One trick I can think of is adding a new series with Y values always at 0, and attach the annotation to that Series, is there a "cleaner" way?

Thanks...

Hi,

If you use column type, try the following code :

Code:
chartSeries.setAttribute(ChartColumnType.MARKER_ALIGN, Alignment.Far);

Otherwise, try to configure X axis or use second series. It would be nice if you provide a picture of the desired behavior.

Thanks for the quick response Volodymyr.
Sorry for not mentioning it earlier... I'm using a Spline/FastLine graph.And I'd like to use the Annotation as a marker that at a certain point on the graph something happened.

In the attached image, I'm looking to add annotations a/b/c or alternatively if possible also have a "marker line" like d/e

Thanks!

Hi,

Please, check following sample. It demonstrates how to implement custom annotation position and how to use striplines.
