Hi.
I am working with some financial android app.

The label of x-axis should be time label, so i use ChartPoint.setAxisLabel function.

It supposed to be like below. I tested it on HTC, Desire.

But LG model, LU2300 has some problem with labeling.

If i use ChartPoint.setAxisLabel function, It looks like below.

So i delete the labeling function, It works but the label is only the index of the chart point.

Below, It's my code for setting label.
Quote:

public void updateChart(List<Map<String,String>> ret) {
Log.d("ChartTest", "chart count : " + ret.size());
chartDataList = ret;
series.getPoints().clear();

for (int i = 0; i < ret.size(); i++) {
Map<String,String> one = ret.get(i);
ChartPoint point = new ChartPoint(i, Double.valueOf(one.get("cl")));
point.setTag(one.get("date"));

setAxisLabel(series.getActualXAxis().getScale(), point, i);
series.getPoints().add(point);
}
}

private void setAxisLabel(ChartAxisScale scale, ChartPoint one, int index) {
if ( false == isLabelExposeIndex(index) ) {
one.setAxisLabel("");
return;
}

String label = null;
String dateStr = (String)one.getTag();
Log.d("ChartTest", "dateStr : " + dateStr);

if ( isMinuteInterval() ) {
label = dateStr.substring(4,6) + "." + dateStr.substring(6,8);
} else {
label = dateStr;
}

one.setAxisLabel(label);
}

Hi,

Try to debug your "labeling" function. Make sure that labels are correct. Perhaps LU2300 doesn't measure labels properly and it falls out of chart.

I have a same problem on SKY phones.
(http://www.isky.co.kr/index.sky)
There're domestic versions that you may not concern. But, it happens on many devices not only for LU2300.

What's the difference between your automatic labeling and custom labeling?
I just think positioning labels are not a matter of custom labeling.
And I can see about 10% of upper area of a chart. If it is a problem of devices, what it means?

My customer complains about this issue so many times.
Please, let me know the solution for this problem.

Thanks.
