Hi author of this chart :)

I have problem with the chart bought from you.
In my code, I need to set label for my pie chart.

Then I did something like this.

Quote:
myPie.setLabelFormat("{LABEL}{\n}({PERCENT0,#.#}%)");

Then it throws me a bunch of error, like

Quote:
04-24 17:39:09.552: E/AndroidRuntime(12362): FATAL EXCEPTION: main
04-24 17:39:09.552: E/AndroidRuntime(12362): java.lang.NullPointerException
04-24 17:39:09.552: E/AndroidRuntime(12362): at com.artfulbits.aiCharts.Base.ChartStringFormat.toString(ChartStringFormat.java:212)

I try to search on
http://www.artfulbits.com/articles/documentation/aicharts/android/reference/com/artfulbits/aiCharts/Base/package-summary.html
and I can NOT find that ChartStringFormat class in document.

Can you help me with this ? I need document about your supported String format. What I want to do in my code was adding a new line between 2 parts of label.

Thank you.

Hi,

ChartStringFormat is inner class, you shouldn't try to get access to it. You may check documentation of setLabelFormat method - http://www.artfulbits.com/articles/documentation/aicharts/android/reference/com/artfulbits/aiCharts/Base/ChartPointAttributes.html#setLabelFormat%28java.lang.String%29

Thank you for your quick reply.

What I do hope is to add new line character between these labels.

For example:
A piece of my pie chart currently displays:
Quote:
Daily Cost 30.45%

What I want to do is formatting it with a new line character.
Quote:
Daily Cost
30.45%

Can your chart support this ?

Thanks and regards.
