I have tried this but no effect.

chartLegend.getTextPaint().setColor(Color.BLACK);
chartView.getLegends().add(chartLegend);

Hi,

1) Make sure that your series contains points.
2) use chartLegend.getTextPaint().setSize method to change text size.

i do this

ChartLegend chartLegend = new ChartLegend();
chartLegend.getTextPaint().setColor(Color.BLACK);
chartLegend.getTextPaint().setTextSize(22);
chartView.getLegends().add(chartLegend);

but text is still white.
another questionaire:
-how can i set x-Axis labels in an angle? Text is too big so it would be drawn over the others?
-and how can i set a global label for axis? like this
unit x-axis
