I'm trying to capture some list data with powershell - how can I get the field value of a Cascaded lookup column using powershell? I can get a reference to the field like so:

Code:
$web=get-spweb http://consoso/sites/test/subweb
$list=$web.lists["my list name"]
foreach ($anItem in $list.items){
  $anItem.fields["CascadedFieldName"]  # WHAT TO DO HERE?
}

Thanks
