I'm interested in having charts be able to show and hide one or more series based on some checkboxes in an Android layout. This would allow us to have compare and contrast graphs of similar data. Is this possible? Invalidate doesn' t seem to redraw the graph, do we need to put it in a fragment and just keep reinserting it or is there a native way to do this?

Confused

I think you can do this in following way:

1)First clear the series
chartView.getSeries().clear();

2)Then add new series to the chart
chartView.getSeries().add(newSeries);

Hi,

There is one more workaround - try to set series.setArea("_SOME_NOT_EXISTING_AREA") to unbind series from default area and series.setArea(null) to bind back.

Best regards,
