Hi,

I am shifting the chart by 50% once it reaches some value. For this i am using setRange method. But once i set the range , the vertical grids not coming properly as it is coming before setting the range. I am doing it by

chartArea.getDefaultXAxis().getScale().setRange(50.0,100.0);

Could you please tell me how solve this.?

Hi,

Could you provide your chart settings? Do you use ChartAxis.setValueType and ChartAxis.setlabelAdapter ?

Best regards,

Hi,

Actually i am using timestamp in the x-axis of the chart. Once it reachs 40seconds, the chart should move 50% to the left.

Hi,

We was faced with this bug like that and it should be fixed in version 1.7. What methods do you need? Please check - http://docs.artfulbits.c...ide/compatibility.html. We can help you to upgrade your code.

Hi,

I am getting following problems with the V1.7 lib.

ChartView.addArea() - This method is deprecated
ChartArea.getDefaultXAxis().setFormat(new SimpleDateFormat("HH:mm:ss")) - This method is deprecated
ChartArea.getDefaultXAxis().setLabelsMode(LabelsMode.HybridLabels) - There is no LabelsMode class
ChartLegend.setItemsProvider(new LegendItemsProvider.SeriesItemsProvider()) - There is no LegendItemsProvider class

Could you please tell me the alternatives for this methods in the V1.7?

Hi,

ChartView.addArea()
Recommended to create it manually

ChartArea area = new ChartArea();
chartView.getAreas().add(area);

ChartArea.getDefaultXAxis().setFormat(new SimpleDateFormat("HH:mm:ss"))
ChartArea.getDefaultXAxis().setLabelFormat(new SimpleDateFormat("HH:mm:ss"))

ChartArea.getDefaultXAxis().setLabelsMode(LabelsMode.HybridLabels)

due docs.artfulbits.com/aicharts/android/guide/compatibility.html

ChartArea.getDefaultXAxis().setLabelsAdapter(ChartAxis.SMART_LABELS_ADAPTER);

ChartLegend.setItemsProvider(new LegendItemsProvider.SeriesItemsProvider())
due docs.artfulbits.com/aicharts/android/guide/compatibility.html

chartLegend.setAdapter(new ChartLegenedAdapter.SeriesItemsAdapter());

In most cases documentation for all deprecated method contains reference for alternative methods

Hi,

If you use ChartAxis.setLabelsAdapter or ChartAxis.setLabelsMode, grid appears only below points.
