I know this should be easy, but I can not seem to figure out how to add multiple charts to a single dashboard view. My layout file currently consists of a LinearLayout with two embedded ChartView objects. When I view this in my app, I am only seeing the first chart. I suspected that the other chart was either overwritten, or not visible, so I added a ScrollView and my two charts displayed, but were compressed an unreadable.

Would someone please share an example of a layout file that will properly display two charts.

dashboard_view.txt (1kb) downloaded 4 time(s).

Hi,

I recommend you to read about android layout settings. Try next xml layout for add several.

Code:
<LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
    android:orientation="vertical"
    android:layout_width="match_parent"
    android:layout_height="match_parent">
    <com.artfulbits.aiCharts.ChartView
        android:layout_weight="1"
        android:layout_width="match_parent"
        android:layout_height="match_parent"/>
    <com.artfulbits.aiCharts.ChartView
        android:layout_weight="1"
        android:layout_width="match_parent"
        android:layout_height="match_parent"/>
</LinearLayout>

Volodymyr,

Thank you for the response. I absolutely agree that I need to continue learning how to leverage the android layout settings. The problem I was having was knowing what each layout property was used for. It wasn't until you responded that I understood what the layout_weight did. Thank you for sharing this with me... it worked, and I am now off to more important issues.
