When exporting data and including the ArtfulBits Discussion column data, we get data that is all marked up. Below is an example.

Note: I had to remove some of the bits from the output below since it was generating "Server Error in Application" messages when I tried to preview this post:

Code:
id="d47bf772_2ce4_46e9_acba_b14508bc2801" value="<data><item userName="pumonitoruser01" userID="98" date="2012-04-02T14:46:21Z"><p>Comments - Notify Test</p></I

Is there any fix for this? If not, are there any plans on making the data more "readable" on export in a future release?

Thanks,

Andy

Due to SharePoint limitation, we can not control data export from column object. We have separate product Column Data Adapter, that extends abilities of many ArtfulBits columns with data exporting.

Please, read more about how to use it here: Column_Data_Adapter_UserGuide.pdf

That product looks like it'll do the trick - I'll give it a shot. Thanks Yura for the quick response!

Just tried it out, works like a charm! I can also view the comments field now in Excel 2003 whereas before it wouldn't appear - an added bonus. Thanks again.
