How should I proceed? I have a single server farm that is 2007 which I have purchased the calander web part. I am setting up a new 2010 farm with multiple servers to replace it and using the database attach method to upgrade it. I would like to know what the upgrade path should be for me.

Hello,

Sorry for the late answer.

To upgrade from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010 do the following steps:

Database attach upgrade:
1) Before performing upgrading, Calendar Web Part has to be installed on the new environment.
2) Perform the upgrade

Upgrade in place:
1) There is required to uninstall Calendar Web Part before performing upgrading.
2) Upgrade in place to SharePoint 2010
3) Install Calendar Web Part for SP 2010 on the target environment.

Please let me know if you have some queries.

- Regards,
Yura

Well do I have to purchase another license? I have done the upgrade, and seemed to work. But said I only had 3 day on the evaluation. So my eval is up and I would like to get this working properly.
