Hi, sorry to bother you again, but there is one more problem here:

I used the world population pie chart example from your website, and gave it a little change: In the XML file, I added two TextViews above and below the chart. The two TextViews and the ChartView all have the attribute: android:layout_weight="1". But the result is wrong, see this screen shot.

Here is the XML resource:

[LinearLayout android:orientation="vertical"
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="fill_parent"]
[TextView
android:id="@+id/text1"
android:textSize="12pt"
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:text="@string/hello"/]
[com.artfulbits.aiCharts.ChartView
android:id="@+id/chartView"
chart="@xml/chart"
android:layout_weight="1"
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"/]
[TextView
android:id="@+id/text2"
android:textSize="12pt"
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:text="@string/hello"/]
[/LinearLayout]

If I remove the weigth attribute from the two TextViews, then it's fine. It seems that aiCharts has a problem when co-existing with other views when weight is specified. Is there any way to get around it? Thank you.

(Actually, this is just an example. In my real problem, the ChartView does not exist in the XML resource, but created from scratch during run time.)

Hi,

It looks like that is "problem" of LinerLayout, not aiCharts. Try to use some other control instead of ChartView and try to reproduce that behavior.

Best regards,
